INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERS (PIIE)-CEBU CHAPTER
Greetings From PIIE Cebu!
It is with pride that we celebrate our 20th year as a duly
organized professional organization for Industrial
Engineers from Cebu, and parts of the Visayas Provinces.
This also coincides with the 19th National Congress, 11th
IE Research Conference and the 2nd AI Summit and CEO
Forum in partnership with IBM.
PIIE Cebu was created under the tutelage, encouragement
and motivation from the prime movers of PIIE National at
that time. 20 years later, PIIE Cebu has since been a loyal
and active member to the institution.
Today, as our profession adapts and aligns to the current trends, tools and platforms that
support academic, industry, enterprise and service requirements that our members utilize in
our quest for world-class quality of Operational Excellence, PIIE Cebu – in alignment to PIIE
National continues to endeavor to deliver to the organizations these timely topics that are
seen to pave the way for the next generation of Industrial Engineers in the new age of
Artificial Intelligence and beyond.
Join me in congratulating PIIE National and PIIE Cebu as we celebrate this milestone in our
history and our partnerships with the pillars of technology towards the advancement of the
profession.
