MESSAGE FROM THE PHILIPPINE INSTITUTE OF

INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERS (PIIE) - CEBU CHAPTER
PRESIDENT AND CONGRESS CHAIR

It is with great pride and honor that I extend my heartfelt
congratulations to our organization on celebrating its 20th
Anniversary. Since my tenure as the student council President
in 2013, I have consistently looked forward to the opportunity
to engage with the organization, as I value its mission and
objectives within the Industrial Engineering Community.

In this digital age, industries are creating new opportunities
to remain ahead of the competition by incorporating AI into
their core business strategy. The organization has been
providing a platform for the Industrial Engineering
community to become more resilient and start preparing to
handle the industry's rapid changes for more than 20 years,
and it will continue to do so. Together, let’s continue to
advance and play a significant role in the nation’s growth by
defining standards, reducing costs, and optimizing processes
to improve productivity through the application of new
technologies.
To the newly inducted Professional Industrial Engineers, and Certified Industrial Engineers,
congratulations. Your efforts have been rewarded. Keep inspiring recent graduates and
professional who aspire to follow in your footsteps.

I also want to express my gratitude to PIIE-National, the PIIE-Cebu’s founding board of directors,
current board of directors, my fellow officers, committees, and student chapter thank you for
their unwavering support of our organization. We deserve to celebrate this milestone for we
have come a long way from our modest beginnings to become a remarkable organization. Once
more, thank you for your tireless efforts. With you, PIIE-Cebu would not exist as it does today.
