c. Substitute is one who has been given an appointment when the regular
incumbent faculty is temporarily unable to perform the duties of his/her
position, as when he/she is on leave of absence or is absent without
official leave or is under suspension. This appointment is good only until
the return of the former incumbent.
Section 4 PERSONNEL CLASSIFICATION
4.1 Teaching Personnel – Faculty members involved in actual teaching, do research, and
participate in community extension service and school activity.
• Teacher 1 is for non-LET passer with Job Grade of NLTP-05
• Teacher 2 is for Licensed Teacher with Job Grade of LTP-06b
4.2 Non-Teaching Academic Personnel – Employees that include the licensed guidance
counselor, licensed librarians, registered nurse, registrar, researchers, school officials
responsible for academic matters, and other school officials.
4.3 Administrative Services Personnel – the Administrative Support Services and Academic
Support Employees.
Section 5 PROCEDURE FOR CHANGING EMPLOYMENT STATUS
The procedure for changing employment status from probationary to permanent:
a. The Head of School endorses to the HRDM Officer the request for permanency of
the personnel, attaching the results of the evaluation and performance records.
b. The HRDM Officer evaluates the candidate based on the documents submitted
and convenes the Executive Management Committee.
c. If the committee finds the candidate qualified, the School Director together with
the President confirms and approves the permanency of the personnel.
d. The HRDM Officer will issue the permanent appointment to the personnel.
Section 6 MERIT SYSTEM
The salary scheme is based on the salary scale standard approved by the Board of
Directors. Change in salary increment step is based on the points earned from the set of criteria.
The general criteria for faculty ranking/reclassification are as follows:
a. Performance Evaluation (Average performance Ratings for two (2) semester) 40 points
Before conducting an evaluation, your immediate supervisor will discuss the
Performance Evaluation form used by your own department.
