Your concentration should be on things that you can control, not on
those things which are beyond your boundaries.
When something is beyond human intelligence, or beyond the
understanding and knowledge of a person, we say that it is because
of luck. We should do our karma with complete dedication and leave
the rest to God. To think that you have luck on your side which is
going to give you everything even if you remain in your comfort zone
is nothing but another excuse for your laziness. You can think or
believe in whatever you want to, but luck or fate should not be
blamed for your idleness or laziness in any situation. If you sincerely
believe in luck then you cannot be ideal, you will have to do the
karma with complete dedication. What you have to do is put in more
efforts and stop bothering about your luck.
Believe in this: “Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to
make it happen.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson
You will not only have to keep making the efforts but also do good
deeds so that any bad karma from the past does not become a
hindrance in your path, and you keep moving ahead.
Some people just sit idle and waste their time thinking that one day
luck will shine upon them and everything will fall into place. Your
opportunity to work hard is no less than a blessing. You are getting a
chance to make efforts and realize your dreams, and if you don’t
value it, you are disrespecting God who is showering his love and
affection on you.
People who are lazy hide behind the excuse of being unlucky, they
try to justify their idleness. They not only harm themselves but also
the entire society. Remember: “Success is not easy and it is certainly
not for the lazy.”
How do you show effort? What should effort be like? It should be
completely relentless and continuous. You will gain so much
confidence that you will start believing that nobody but you are
