responsible for your own fate—but this belief will generate only after
making efforts.
Do your Karma. “Life is a boomerang; what you give you get.”
A lot of time we have people around us who keep complaining about
having a bad luck, and since we spend a lot of time with them, our
mentality becomes like theirs. If you give a lot of space and
importance to negative people in your life, it will be like harnessing a
breeding ground for darkness. But if you spend all your time with
positive people who believe in the fruits of hard work, you will
automatically start feeling energetic. Are you courageous enough to
leave those old friends who are stopping you from moving ahead?
Do you know when and how to say ‘no’? Are you not lying to yourself
just to make other people happy? Someone who never respected his
own time, how can he respect yours? One day you will be filled with
guilt thinking why were you not courageous enough to think about
yourself. You do not have to eclipse your own light. The God of
success demands the gift of effort—and you will have to give it to
him.
Every great person in history has had to face obstacles in life. If in
the face of an obstacle they would have thought, ‘this is not what is
written in my life, otherwise I would have never faced this obstacle’,
would they have achieved anything? Remember:” He that is good for
making excuses is seldom good for anything else.”
You only earn success by clearing obstacles, but to remain seated
and do nothing in the face of obstacles, and to curse your luck to
hide your incapability and your laziness, is nothing but humorous. A
bend on the road to success is also a test of your determination and
patience. A person who always thinks that he is unlucky, slowly
becomes hopeless. He is never able to come out of darkness. To
have obstacles on your journey to success is an inevitable rule of the
nature.
“I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I
have of it.” – Thomas Jefferson
