Chapter 11
Consistency and Revision
“It's not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives. It's what
we do consistently.”
― Anthony Robbins
Consistency is a very strong element when it comes to studies.
Students who are regular with their studies can even get ahead of
other talented students. To be consistent is to do the same work
every day with the same amount of determination. But why is it so
difficult for us to be consistent? Not just studies, we find it difficult to
consistent in almost everything.
One of the main reasons behind our inconsistency is: we were not
taught to inculcate the quality of regularity in ourselves, in our school
and college days. When we were in school we always had a teacher,
who was after us. Our parent’s strictness and insistence on a
disciplined life kept us on our toes. We were regular in our studies
because they were after us. But when things came into our own
hands, we lost the regularity and discipline that was there in our life.
What is the true meaning of being consistent? Does this mean that

granted or feel that you deserve a movie break every day. The time
that you are investing to watch the movie is not your right but you are
doing it to freshen up your mood so that you can go back to your
studies with greater zeal than before.
There is no human who can do the same amount of hard work each
and every day. Being consistent does not mean to measure the
