Objective #3: Having written a goal you feel is worthy of
achievement, be able to derive (write) the per-
formances that, if exhibited, will cause you to
agree that the goal is achieved (i.e., write an
operational definition of a goal you feel is
important to achieve).
Test Items:
1. Describe the steps in completing a goal analysis.
✓ 2. Select a goal for your course and complete a goal analy-
sis.
3. Review the completed goal analyses in the attached
envelope. Circle the items that have been incorrectly
described as performances.
Objective #4: Given a disassembled M-16 rifle, be able to cor-
rectly assemble it, while blindfolded, within five
minutes.
Test Items:
1. List the parts of an M-16 rifle.
2. Describe the action of the M-16 rifle. Also state the his-
tory of the rifle and three combat situations for which it
is the weapon of choice.
✓ 3. On the table in front of you is a disassembled M-16 rifle.
Put on the blindfold and assemble the rifle. You will have
five minutes to make the rifle completely operational.
