나는 차분하게 꽃밭너머로 의자를 그리고,
이제 그림 속의 내 의자는 기능, 권위를 상징하는 의자가 아니라
힘들고 외롭고 가난하고 허전한 누군가를 위한
휴식의 의자로 변모한다.
Artist Statement
I've spent the past several years painting <Finding Happiness> and I feel
that it won't be easy moving on from this theme. As I continue to reflect
on happiness, I see it as the central theme for everything that we live for,
pray for and love for. I look to portray all of the little bits of life's happi-
ness that we feel, and it is a great source of joy.
There are times where I get restless working in a studio that doesn't
