necessity to comprehend business education as a viable, essential component
to the total academic program in comprehensive secondary school must be
included in the program. Co-curricular activities that support the subject areas
are included along with the business courses offered in high school.
Business education is an integral part of the total academic structure and
provides a significant contribution to the education of all students in a
business-oriented society. Therefore, courses are designed and sequenced to
enable students to handle their own personal business matter, to prepare
students for immediate successful entry into the business world and to
provide those students who desire advanced study on the college or university
level with the business background essential for successful performance.

Entrepreneurship – Grade 7

Economics and Investment – Grade 9-10
Business Management, Accountancy and Entrepreneurship – ABM Strand
Bazaar
Students apply concepts learned in the annual entrepreneurship bazaar during school
activities. “Young entrepreneurs” are tasked to come up with innovative products.
Chief Executive Officer’s (CEO) Forum/Straight Talk
The Chief Executive Officer’s Forum is a program of the Business Department that
invites business leaders and captains of industry to share their experiences and
expertise in business to the students of Grades 10-12 for inspiration and knowledge.
Straight Talk invites successful alumni whose laudable achievements serve as
inspiration to the graduating batch. Their success is attributed to the outstanding
curricular programs -- capital market investment and financial literacy that SISC offers
to the graduating batch.
