7. Artificial Intelligence – ICT- Robotics Program

The Information Communication Technology subject combines theoretical
and practical studies focusing on the following:

                    Digital Citizenship
                    Coding Skills
                    Artificial Intelligence
 Use of common software applications

The common software applications include word processors, spreadsheets, databases,
interactive presentation software, e-mail, web browsers, website design and immersive
        technologies.

This subject focuses on key skill sets within a given area of technology and through
the use of online demonstrations, coding exercises, digital activities and assessments,
coupled with external links to deepen knowledge and provide a complete learning
        environment and experience.

The ICT with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts are woven into lessons across
different grade spans, in ways that are useful for students of different ages. AI
concepts aim to produce AI-literate digital citizens to help students understand what
AI is in relation to their own senses, and their own ways of making sense of problems.
They provide an overview of AI, and explain how it can be used to build smart
applications that help organizations be more efficient and enrich people’s lives. It uses
a mix of engaging lectures and hands-on activities to help students take their first steps
in the challenging field of AI. Students will also be able to identify intelligent agents
that will solve real-world problems including, search, games, machine learning, logic,
        and constraint satisfaction problems.

        ICT Education

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) play an increasingly important
role in the way we communicate, learn and live. The challenge is to effectively harness
these technologies in a way that serves the interests of learners and the larger
        teaching/learning community.
