5.3.3. Phase Naming, Sensor Type and Reference

Select the number of sensors installed on the asset by selecting the termination box that
is mounted to the asset. The options will vary according to the type of monitor selected.

• Change the phase naming schema if desired.
• Select the type of sensor; the available options will vary depending on the type of
monitor selected.
• Select the synchronization signal source; note that for SSC sensors an External
synchronization must be used; for BUS or PDA sensor configurations the sensor is
typically the synchronization source.

5.3.4. Sensor Review
The application will how display a summary of the sensors created. Depending on the
options selected previously, there may be additional setup requirements.
• Sensors for a BusGuardII or BusTracII require the bus delay to be set.

• Sensors for a HydroGuardII or HydroTracII require the parallel number to be set.
• If the sensors are SSC’s, the slot number of each sensor needs to be entered.

• If an External synchronization was selected, the Reference Angle needs to be set.
