Configuring a Monitor

Pressing the “Defaults’ button will set these values based on the asset properties:

• Minimum ‘Full’ load is set to 80% of the rated load
• Maximum ‘Reduced’ is set to 50% of the rated load
• Minimum ‘Hot’ is set to 80% of the rated temperature

• Maximum ‘Cold’ is set to 70% of the rated temperature

7.4.4. GuardII+ EV Shaft Trigger Configuration

A Shaft Trigger is option for EV measurements on the GuardII+. Press the ‘Shaft Trigger
Setup’ button on the ribbon to configure the shaft trigger. The shaft trigger configuration is
split up into 3 main areas:
• The Synchronization Signal graph shows the shaft trigger signal after it has been
detected by the hardware.
• The Shaft Trigger Signal graph shows the raw shaft trigger data and the selected
trigger threshold.
• The controls are used to manually acquire a fresh set of shaft trigger data and show
some analysis results of the shaft trigger signal.
