o Serial numbers for sensors should be unique. If multiple sensors have the
same serial number, a warning icon will appear in the ‘Check’ column.

If a Shaft Trigger is not used, then the phase shift data collected will vary
from measurement to measurement. As a result, the phase data will not
be trendable over time.
• To add more sensors, press the ‘Add…’ button. In the Add sensor dialog, select the
type and number of sensors to add.
o IAM has a catalog of pre-defined Iris Power LP sensors. Other sensors can
be added as well; the high and low-frequency cutoff, sensitivity and the
number of axes the sensor can monitor are all required information.

• Once the sensor list is created, each sensors’ installation site needs to be defined.
This is defined by 2 pieces of information; the sensor location and the sensor position.
Additionally, there is a sensor name that is used for reference.
