o The Shaft Trigger and Shaft Trigger Marker will also be listed if the Shaft
Trigger checkbox was selected on the Sensor List page.
                        • Sensor locations are selected from 9 possible options:

                                   o Phase Lead
                                   o Neutral Lead
                                   o Ring Bus

                                   o Connection End Bar
                                   o Non-Connection End Bar
                                   o Connection End Slot Exit

                                   o Non-Connection End Slot Exit
                                   o Connection End Core
                                   o Non-Connection End Core

                        • Sensor positions for EV sensors and the Shaft Trigger are determined by selecting the
slot number that the sensor best lines up with. The position for the Shaft Trigger
Marker is selected based on the pole it lines up with.
                        • Sensor names are created by default based on the selected location and position but
                            can be changed if desired.

                        • Once the sensor positions and locations are defined, the orientation of each axis that
the EV sensors can monitor needs to be entered. Some sensors can monitor multiple
axes, and some can only monitor a single axis; each axis needs to be configured by
selecting an orientation (radial, tangential or axial).
