• Pressing and holding the button for more than 10s will set the Alert into Forced Alert
mode; the Alert Relay is set to its active state until it is reset. For example, if the relay
is programmed for Momentary Normally-Open operation, holding the button for 10
seconds will force the relay closed until reset.
When the Alert is reset:
• The Alert State is cleared.
• The front panel Alert indicator is turned off.
• The internal Alert indicators revert to the non-Alert state.
6.5.2. Online/Offline Button
The Online/Offline button is used to toggle the GuardII+ state between Online and Offline.
As described in Section 4.1, the normal operational state of the monitor is Online, and
when Offline, GuardII+ is not performing measurements.
WARNING:
The monitor MUST be online for normal operation.
If GuardII+ is turned on, but has been offline for more than 24 hours, it will
automatically go online.
6.6. Single-Shot Measurements
In addition to the automatic measurements recorded in the Archive, it may sometimes be
desirable to manually run a measurement and save it in the database. To do this, open IAM
and view the EV data. Once EVView is open, press the ‘Perform Measurement’ button; once
the measurement is completed, the data will be automatically saved in the database.
