8.2.8. Flux-S Alert Information

Address Data Notes
4000 Update Counter Contains ‘0’ when data is invalid; either on
power-up before a measurement is
completed, or during an update cycle.
Once updated, this value increments every
time a new measurement is posted. The
register value wraps around 255 to a value
of 1
4002 Mode The machine’s operating mode:
1 = Unknown
2 = Generator mode
3 = Pump-Storage mode
4003 Alert Count The number of poles currently in Alert
4004 Pole 1 Alert Status The Alert status of Pole 1:
0 = No Alert detected
1 = Flux Alert detected on this pole
4005 to Pole 2 Alert Status Same as Pole 1 Coil 1 Status above.
4131 to For machines with less than 128 poles,
Pole 128 Alert Status unused poles will report a status of ‘0’.

8.2.9. Flux-S Measurement Data
NOTE:
Pole data is reported as a signed 16-bit value representing the normalized
flux density compared to the same coil of the opposite pole, with negative
values indicating a drop in flux density. This value is reported in 100 ’s of

a percent; a flux amplitude difference of -1.87% would be reported as
-187.

Expressed in 4 digits (i.e., 2019)
7001 Month The month of the last measurement
1 = January … 12 = December
7002 Day The day of the month of the last measurement
7003 Hour The hour of the last measurement
Expressed in 24-hour mode (0-23)
7004 Minute The minute of the last measurement
0-59
7005 Second The second of the last measurement
