machine, after a thoughtful contemplation of a working
machine, as a rule, after a while asks a simple and quite

logical question: what parts can I make on this equipment?

Let us try to discuss this topic as much as possible.

Let us omit the physical and technological
nuances of the wire-cutting process and focus exclusively on the
geometry of the process, that is, we will determine the possible shapes of
the resulting products. We need to start with the simplest case when two
CNC-controlled ones are involved in the processing axes: X and Y (2-axis
machining). For a clearer understanding, refer to the next figure.
