2.3 Doubling the agricultural productivity and income of small-scale food
producers, especially women, indigenous people, smallholding farmers,
herdsmen and fishermen.
2.4 Providing accessibility to sustainable food productivity systems and flexible
agricultural practices which contribute to maintaining ecological systems, while
confronting challenges such as climate change, extreme weather conditions,
drought, flooding and other disasters.
2.5 Safeguarding the genetic diversity of seeds, processed plants, domestic
animals and their wild relatives, in addition to the various seed and plant banks
operating at regional, national, and international levels. This should be aligned
with promoting collaborations relating to the use of genetic resources and
relevant received knowledge.
A.2 Expanding investment through international collaboration, in rural
infrastructures, agricultural research, technological development and genetic
banks for animals and plants, in order to enhance agricultural productivity in
developing countries.
B.2 Altering and obstructing trade restrictions and distortions in agricultural
markets worldwide, while simultaneously blocking the maximum range of
agricultural export subsidies and all export possibilities.
C.2 Applying measures to secure the appropriate operation of food product
markets and their derivatives, while providing swift access to market data,
including food futures, limiting excessive volatility in food prices.
