\ Interim goals



              12.1  10 year plans – adoption of long-term plans related to manufacturing
              processes and consumption of products taking into consideration the abilities
              of developing countries.
               12.2 Adoption of sustainable management and efficient use of natural resources

              by 2030.
              12.3 Reduction of food waste  – significant reduction of food losses in

              manufacturing  processes  and  in  the  supply  chain,  including  food  losses  at
              local and domestic levels.

              12.4 Chemical waste management – stable environmental management of
              toxic and hazardous waste according to agreed international work plans and
              significant reduction of pollution due to failing to treat these substances.

              12.5  Reduction of waste and encouragement of recycling – significant reduction
              of the quantities of waste through prevention, reduction, recycling, and reuse.

              12.6 Sustainable reporting culture – encouraging companies (primarily large,
              international companies) to adopt sustainable behavior norms and implement
              relevant information in sustainability fields in their reporting systems.

              12.7 Sustainable public consumption  – promotion  of  sustainable public

              consumption practices according to national policies and priorities.
              12.8 Increasing sustainable lifestyle awareness – increasing awareness and

              distributing relevant information and knowledge for adopting a sustainable
              lifestyle while safeguarding ecosystems and nature.

              12a – Technological tools and knowledge for developing countries – support
              for developing countries for strengthening their scientific and technological
              abilities for adopting sustainable consumption and production patterns.
