\ What’s happening in the world…?



              Did you know that…?

              •  The climate crisis is continuing unabated – in 2020, the global average

                  temperature increased by 1.2 degrees Celsius more than in the period
                  before the industrial revolution.

              •  The Paris Agreement fixed a goal for maintaining a maximum increase of
                  1.5 degrees Celsius – an objective that is unfeasible as of 2022.


              •  An increase in greenhouse gas emissions requires world economies to
                  make changes to reduce emissions.

              •  125 out of 154 developing countries have drafted climate crisis preparation
                  plans.
