ecosystem and taking actions to rehabilitate them.
14.3 Dealing with the effect of the increased acidification of the oceans and
scientific cooperation in the field.
14.4 Effective control of illegal fishing and overfishing with the aim of
replenishing fish populations
14.5 Conservation of at least 10% of marine and coastal areas.
14.6 Prohibiting fishing subsidies, causing excess fishing with attention to the
issue of developing countries.
14.7 Increasing the financial benefits for developing island countries to
encourage the sustainable use of marine resources.
14a Increasing the use of scientific knowledge, development of research
abilities and marine technologies with the aim of improving health
14b Providing small fishermen access to marine sources and markets.
14c Implementation of international law that lays down guidelines for
sustainable management and preservation of marine resources.
