                         Generally, the referral should be in writing
                         Note referrals in Australia to a Child Consultant should comply with S 10J of
                          the Family Law Act.  In other jurisdictions referrals should comply with the
                          requirements of law and professional associations.

                         Briefing from Family Mediator including their  observations of the Parent
                          Readiness
                   Parent Meeting
                         The meeting (ideally) completed face to face for approximately one hour per
                          parent.
                         If the Child Consultant  is also the  Family Mediator/ADR practitioner,  this
                          meeting can be completed during the Intake or Pre-FDR/Mediation session.
