and we all know everything needs a break. In my opinion, eating

that much is like revving a car engine nonstop, sooner or later,

something is going to give out. When we were young, we had

high metabolisms and were active, always running, jumping, and

playing so we could get away with eating all day and burn it right

off. But as you get older, your metabolism slows down, and on

top of that, you are not physically active as you once were. So

the problem is since we are not as active and our metabolism is

slowing down, we should watch what we consume and cut back

on eating 3 to 5 times a day. Most people who eat 3 to 5 meals

a day are not consuming the healthiest meals. Another reason

I recommend fasting is that when you fast, you recognize the

two types of hunger. The first type of hunger is when the body

actually yearns for food. The second type of hunger is mental

because that’s what you spend your day thinking about out of

habit and routine of everyday life. I feel it’s all habit and routine

because the Americanized way of living is breakfast, lunch, dinner,

and snacks in between those meals. For example, a professional

athlete is all cut up with muscles eating lots of meals and burning

it off because they are highly active. But if you notice, when they

retire, they soon become big and out of shape. The reason being

is because their activity level changed, but their eating habits did
