C. Provision of Related Learning Experiences

C.1 Conduct of Seminars/Trainings/Workshops and Company Visits
Seminars/trainings/workshops and company visits are conducted to update
students on recent trends in information technology. One of the subjects in the
BSIT curriculum is Seminars/Fieldtrip which requires students to organize
seminars/trainings related to IT and require them also to attend. The subject
also requires them to go for company visits/on-site tour to industries/agencies
engaged in information technology through a 2-3 day Educational Tour in the
city.
