FUN AND FUNDRAISING!
In November, the Junior School P & F staged its second
annual Fun Run, and it was a terrific day of colour and
laughter, and the most successful fundaiser in the
Junior P & F’s calendar.
Our wonderful parent volunteers, led by Mrs. Bonnie
Mamo (Junior SChool P & F Campus Representative),
set up obstacle courses and were very quick on the
draw with water pistols and colour bottles as the
students crossed the finishing line. Once all the
competitors had finished the course, a pizza party
rounded out a perfect day!
IN THE PINK!
It was wonderful to see the BMGS sporting community - led with sartorial
splendour by our MIC of Cricket, Mr. Collins - throw their support behind
our Pink Day, held on 1st December, for the McGrath Foundation.
The School was awash with pink throughout the Summer Sports Home Day
(Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball, Touch Football and Cricket) and the atmosphere
around the grounds was fantastic.
All money raised will help to fund Breast Care Nurses in community areas
across Australia. Thank you to everyone who came along in support of our
teams and who donated to the cause.
