CULTIVATING SUSTAINABILITY
CUL TIV A TING SUST AINABILITY
Year 8 Technology students have been studying Agriculture this year. The classes have been
actively involved in growing crops from seeds in the School’s new greenhouse. The students
have been working in ‘Growing Groups’ to research, cultivate and promote their crops,
electing to grow mini cucumbers, coriander, chives, kale, rocket, radish, spinach, oregano and
beetroot. These crops were then donated to the School canteen.
