Adminstration :
Doxorubicin is administered via I.V. injection through a
central line. it is given over several minutes.
It can also be given by continuous infusion.
The amount of doxorubicin given to a patient, dependson
many factors, including height and weight, health
problems, and the type of cancer .
Side Effects: (occurring in greater than 30%), will
improve after therapy is complete.
Pain along the site of injection
Nausea or vomiting
