Traditional use:
In neurological afflictions
• ex. Facial paralysis
• Externally for ring worms
• (Suspension has been used as repellant to dogs and other wildlife).
• Anti tumor in animals
Contraindications:
• Not to be given to infant up to 1 year it causes methemoglobinemia.
• should be avoided in pregnancy as it might cause abortion.
