2.Guggul
It is the air dried oleogum resin exudate from the stems and branches of
Commiphora mukul f. Burseraceae.
Constituents
• Essential oil.
• Water soluble gum: made up of galactose, arabinose, 4-O-methyl
glucuronic acid.
• Resinous fraction: diterpene cembrene
• Sterols: guggulsterones.
• Triterpene (myrrhanol)
