 3- Flavanone glycosides
 Hesperidin

The glycoside hesperidin is an example of flavanones.
It is the 7-0-rutinoside of the genin hesperitin.

hesperidin is the main flavanones glycoside of citrus fruits, and
accumulates in considerable amounts in the rinds of these citrus fruits.

Hesperitin : R=H Hesperidin
Hesperidin: R = Rutinose

Rutinose is of common occurrence in family Rutaceae.

Bioflavonoids
known as "Vitamin P" (Permeability factor), and semi-essential nutrients
Four categories:
*1- PCO (Proanthocyanidins) available sources are from grape seeds.
*2- Citrus bioflavonoids include rutin, quercitrin, hesperidin, naringin,
Diosmin ,treatment of capillary permeability, nose bleeding capillary
fragility , bruising, hemorrhoids, and varicose veins
* 3- Quercetin serves as backbone for other flavonoids such as citrus
flavonoids:
* 4- Green Tea Polyphenols polyphenols = flavonoids
polyphenols in green tea: catechin, epicatechin, ………
