Week Eleven:
Pebble Art
This week’s activity is all about creativity. Kids love
to paint, so why not make it a fun activity while also
teaching them something about the world? You can
first go around the garden, forest, or any other outdoor
area and choose one pebble or small rock. Then, start
painting something pretty and related to nature. Not
only does this boost their creativity, but it also works
on their dexterity as they must focus on the sides of
the rock and must control their movements to paint
something accurately– that is, if they want to!
So, this activity is great for the development of their
expressive arts and design skills while also contribut-
ing to their physical development.
