Villa Vermonte – Guest Information

Your Arrival

If there have been previous guests staying in the villa we have asked them to vacate by
10 a.m. to allow the maids to undertake a departure clean and prepare for your arrival,
which we expect to be completed by 2 p.m. when you
arrive. It is however possible that the maids have not left
by 2 p.m. as some departure cleans can take longer than
others and we would apologise in the rare instance when
this happens, but we are sure you would prefer the maids
to finish the job.

We use a top class management company, Colin Skinner
Services, to service and maintain the villa but if there is
anything you are not satisfied with when you arrive please contact the management
company.

As you have arrived at the weekend, we would be grateful, unless it is a genuine
emergency (e.g. no power, no hot water etc.), if you would report any problem to them
on the following Monday morning when they have a full complement of staff to deal with
it.

You will have been advised, separately for security reasons, of the alarm code and
procedures for turning the alarm off and on but if there is any problem you need to
contact Vigiquinta, the Quinta do Lago security service. If the alarm inadvertently goes
off the security guards will appear within a few minutes as the villa is linked to the
security office so there is no need to ring them.

All the garden furniture will have been put out – but not
the cushions if the weather is inclement. The cushions are
stored in the pool room next to the barbecue and the key
for that room is in the kitchen on the shelf above the
console table.

The swimming pool is cleaned on the day before your
arrival but may have some debris if there has been windy
weather – if so contact the pool man to repeat the clean.

Luggage Store - The large cupboard under the stairs next to the kitchen can be used
for the storage of your suitcases in order to give you more space in the bedrooms. There
is also a smaller cupboard to the right of the front door.

Telephone – a phone handset is available on the desk in the lounge and local calls are
free.

Free Internet Access - if you have brought your laptop or tablet we provide free Wi- Fi
internet access. Your laptop, tablet or phone will connect to the Wi-Fi router
automatically but you will need the password, which you will have been given separately,
to complete the connection.

Nearest Supermarket – there is a small supermarket at the Vilar do Golf resort which
is situated just off roundabout 4 of the Avenida Andre Jordan. It is open 7 days a week
from 8am-8pm. There is a larger supermarket, Pingo Doce, at the Bourganvila shopping
centre at the entrance to Quinta do Lago.
