Villa Vermonte – Guest Information



                   Your Departure

                   Whether you have a late flight or your flight is delayed, on your day of departure we
                   require you to vacate the villa at the time we previously advise, which is 10 a.m, to
                   allow the maids to prepare the villa for subsequent guests who may be arriving as early
                   as 2 p.m. Your failure to vacate by the allocated time could result in additional charges
                   and obviously considerable inconvenience for the next guests.

                   If the villa is not being occupied again the same day, we will do our best to allow you to
                   stay later, but we cannot guarantee that it is possible if the housekeeping staff need to
                   carry out any necessary maintenance work.

                   Please check carefully that you have taken all of your personal belongings, particularly
                   from the wardrobes, laundry baskets and the safe. To assist the housekeeping staff, we
                   would be most grateful if you could leave the property as tidy as possible as this will
                   assist the next guests in getting into the villa promptly. Please do not leave out your
                   dirty breakfast dishes, putting them in the dishwasher will suffice, and please put out all
                   of your rubbish in the bin at the front gate.

                   In the Welcome envelope you received on your arrival is a “Departure envelope” for
                   your villa door key and main gate remote control. You should leave this on the hall
                   console table as described on the envelope. Please remember to include any extra set of
                   keys you may have been given. However, you should only return the keys to the front
                   door and not to any of the other doors, such as the pool room and the upper terrace door
                   which should be left in the villa in the places you found them. If the front door key goes
                   missing we have to change the lock and would need to apply the cost to your security
                   and key deposit.

                   If your flight is not until later in the day but you have to vacate your villa at l0am, you
                   can spend your time at one of the bars and restaurants in Quinta do Lago. We would
                   recommend the following:

                   Casa do Lago – the Casa do Lago restaurant at the main lake has a large terrace with
                   comfortable seating where you can have a drink, a snack or lunch. There are toilets with
                   shower facilities and a car park where you can safely park your car. Telephone: 289 394

                                                              The Shack – where you can enjoy tapas style
                                                              snacks and exquisite cocktails in a beautiful

                                                              If you are flying home please read your ticket
                                                              information carefully and if it advises you to
                   reconfirm your return flight, then it is vital that you do so. Please allow plenty of time get
                   to the airport. Traffic into the airport can be very heavy in peak season and it can take
                   time to refuel on your way to the airport and process your hire car return. If you need to
                   refuel, there is a garage at the roundabout at the entrance to the airport but there can
                   be long queues especially in the morning. On very busy days, it can also take a long time
                   to check-in for your flight.

                   With our internet access in the villa you can check the arrival time of your incoming flight
                   on the Faro airport website as a guide to whether your flight will depart on time. Even if
                   there is a delay the airline will require you to check in on time.
