NO B.S. Time Management for Entrepreneurs 43CHAPTER 3 / HOW TO DRIVE A STAKE THROUGH THE HEARTS OF THE TIME VAMPIRES OUT TO SUCK YOU DRYTime Management, continued%u201cConsider doing what Dan told you to do, Parthiv. I think you will like the new life,%u201d suggested Mr. Lange.I went to my coach at that time, Dr. Charles Martin, and asked him what to do.%u201cParthiv, if I called you and if you did not answer or if I got your voice mail, I would not be offended. I just want you to call me back with a thorough and thoughtful answer. I just want to know when you will get back to me.%u201d%u201cWhat if it was an emergency, Dr. Martin?%u201d I asked. %u201cIf it was a real emergency, Parthiv, I will hang up and call 911. I am sure they would know what to do. Why would I call you in an emergency? You do marketing.%u201dSo I made some changes even though I was scared out of my mind.I created an Infusionsoft campaign, a landing page on my website (www.elaunchers.com/mindmap) where my paying clients can go and schedule an appointment. I did make time slots available during evenings and weekends, but I also exercised control.I deployed an application called %u201cAutomationCore%u201d that connected all my calendars, all my devices, my Outlook, and my Infusionsoft calendars in one online synchronized system. So when someone clicked on my link to schedule an appointment, it instantly and automatically updates ALL my devices. (I have about a dozen devices and four humans tracking my moves.)Another thing I started doing is adding a %u201cbuffer%u201d so I would get a ding ten minutes prior to the appointment so I can start preparing.
