How does someone live who knows he bears the

                          Spirit of Allah?

                          The ex ter nal world is cre at ed for us sole ly as an il lu sion, and we ob serve it through the soul,

                     which in turn be longs to Allah. All who come to re al ize this will see that all cre at ed en ti ties be long
                     to Him and will seek to un der stand the wis dom in our Lord’s sub lime cre a tion. They will re al ize that
                     the life of this world con sists of a test pre sent ed through the im a ges shown to them, and that their
                     true life will be that in the eter nal Hereafter. When they re al ize that this world con sists of a tran si to -

                     ry dream they will al so aban don their de vo tion to this life, which has no ma te ri al re al i ty, and to the
                     things of this world. They will di rect their true love and de vo tion to our Almighty Lord, Who has
                     end less pow er, the on ly true Lord of all, Whose ex is tence per vades all things. They will see the il log -
                     i cal i ty of seek ing aft er a mere il lu sion. They will in stead seek to at tain the ap prov al of Allah, the true

                     Lord of ex is tence and eter ni ty. They will un der stand that the love and ap prov al, the mer cy and Pa-
                     radise of Allah are far too val u a ble to be ex changed for any thing cre at ed in this world of il lu sion. On-
                     ce they com pre hend that fact, they will strive to at tain the life of Paradise, with its in fi nite bless ings,
                     in stead of be ing caught up in long ing for the worth less world ly de sires, seek ing to gain ad van ta ges

                     and re sort ing to op pres sion, cru el ty and ruth less ness to that end.
                          They will seek to de vote the brief life span al lot ted to them to ex hib it ing prop er mor al val ues and
                     be hav ing in the fin est man ner pos si ble. They will hope to at tain the best of all things in the Hereaf-
                     ter and do all they can to have no re grets in that eter nal life. The more they ap pre ci ate our Lord’s

                     might, they will re al ize that Allah has cre at ed in fi nite bless ings in Paradise, but in fi nite suf fer ing in
                     Hell.




                                                What we experience during the life of this world is part of the test created for us by Allah.
                                                Our responsibility is to display the good manners we hope will be most pleasing to Allah.
