"Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and
you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down,

shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For
with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." (Luke, 6:37-
38)

You have heard that it was said, 'Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.'
But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you
on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if someone
wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as
well. If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles.
(Matthew, 5:38-41)

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe
yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and pa-
tience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you
may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all to-
gether in perfect unity. (Colossians 3:12-14)
