Both his de scrip tion of the Masjid al-Aqsa and of the car -
a van were great mir a cles of Allah's mer cy. Allah informs us in
the Qur'an of some of the vers es about his as cent to the "lo te
tree of the fi nal lim it":
He saw him again an oth er time by the Lote-tree of the Final
Limit, be side which is the Garden of Refuge, when that
which cov ered the Lote-tree cov ered it. His eye did not wa -
ver, nor did he look away. He saw some of the Greatest
Signs of his Lord. (Surat al-Najm: 13-18)

This great mir a cle is an im por tant proof from the Lord to
the un be liev ers. Every sin gle mir a cle that the Lord al lowed our
Prophet (saas) to per form was cre at ed by Allah's will; none of
them de pend ed up on a cause. And, they all strength ened the
be liev ers' faith.
