na tion" (Surat al-Baqarah: 185).
However, on ly those who fear and re spect
Allah, abide by His de crees, sub mit to Him in their
heart, and choose the next world to this one can con sid er its ad -
vice:

We did not send down the Qur'an to you to make you mis -
er a ble, but on ly as a re mind er for those who have fear [and
re spect for Allah]. (Surah Ta Ha: 2-3)
This is a ma jor se cret of the Qur'an. It does not take a high
in tel lect, a broad cul ture, or any spe cial abil i ty to un der stand
the Qur'an; it is on ly nec es sa ry to have sin cer i ty. Allah re veals
the truth to His sin cere ser vants and brings them to sal va tion.
The Qur'an has been sent to hu man i ty, but is the way to the
right path on ly for those who fear and re spect Him and be lieve
in the Last Day:

Those are the signs of the Wise Book – gui dance and mer cy
for those who do good. (Surah Luqman: 2-3)
O hu man i ty, ad mo ni tion has come to you from your Lord,
and al so heal ing for what is in the breasts and gui dance and
mer cy for the be liev ers. (Surah Yunus: 57)

Given the above, we can see that the Qur'an con tains ad -
vice for ev ery one and guides the ob ser vant and gen er ous
