He brings down to the grave and rais es up." The Lord
                      sends pov er ty and wealth; He hum bles and He ex alts. He
                     rais es the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash
                     heap... "For the foun da tions of the earth are the Lord's... He
                     will guard the feet of His saints, but the wick ed will be si -
                     lenced in dark ness. It is not by strength that one pre vails." (1

                     Samuel, 2:1-9)

                        Then Abraham prayed to God, and God healed... they
                        could have chil dren again. (Genesis, 20:17)

                     Then he prayed, "O Lord, God of my mas ter Abraham, give
                     me suc cess to day, and show kind ness to my mas ter Abra-

                     ham." (Genesis, 24:12)

                                          Moses then left Pharaoh and prayed to
                                          the Lord. (Exodus, 10:18, 8:30)
