WISDOM AND SOUND ADVICE FROM THE TORAH
... At night His song is with me—a prayer to the God of my
life. (Psalms, 42:8)
He [Job (pbuh)] prays to God and finds fa vor with Him, he
sees God's face and shouts for joy; he is re stored by God...
(Job, 33:26)
... But I prayed, "Now strength en my hands." (Nehemiah, 6:9)
I cry aloud to the Lord; I lift up my voice to the Lord for mer -
cy... I cry to You, O Lord; I say, "You are my ref uge, my por -
tion in the land of the liv ing." (Psalms, 142:1, 5)
... If My peo ple, who are called by My name, will hum ble
them selves and pray and seek My face and turn from their
wick ed ways, then will I... for give their sin and will heal their
land. (2 Chronicles, 7:14)
But we prayed to our God... (Nehemiah, 4:9)
You alone are the Lord. You made the heav ens, even the hi ghest
heav ens, and all their star ry host, the earth and all that is on it,
the seas and all that is in them. You give life to ev ery thing, and
the mul ti tudes of heav en wor ship You. (Nehemiah, 9:6)
This is what the Lord says, He Who made the earth, the Lord
Who formed it and es tab lished it—the Lord is His name: "Call
to Me and I will an swer you and tell you great and un search -
a ble things you do not know." (Jeremiah, 33:2-3)

my spir it grows faint with in me, it is You Who know my way.
In the path where I walk men have hid den a snare for me... I
