Winchester to Salisbury

If you just want to get from Winchester to Salisbury as quickly as possible, take the M3 to
its intersection with the M27 just south of Eastleigh.
Take the M27 to Interchange 2 and the A36 into Salisbury. That trip is about 31 miles and will take
a shade under 45 minutes.
On the other hand, my suggested route is 6 miles shorter and perhaps three to four minutes
slower – but a lot more interesting.
