SITE ESTABLISHMENT & PROTECTION

Site protection measures restricting the construction footprint.

The construction process was carefully managed to reduce environmental impact throughout the build.
Approaches included:
• All mature trees on site were protected during the construction period

• Surface water and runoff were managed and silt fences reduced sediment movement

• Construction staging and planning identified construction areas of influence, construction routes, material
storage zones, vehicle parking, material storage and waste handling areas to limit the area of influence
• Construction fencing controlled the construction footprint and reduced human / wildlife conflict.

As a result of these measures:

• No trees were lost
• No instances of major soil contamination were recorded

• No instances of groundwater contamination were recorded

• No instances of human wildlife conflict were recorded
