WSS: This week its a break from the league with a trip to Keynsham Town in
the League Cup, what are your thoughts ahead of the game?
EP: We have watched back the footage against Portishead and are aware of a few areas we
need to tidy up on in training this week before we meet Keynsham away this weekend. We
are aware that Keynsham are another good team that have been in this league for years,
although they get a mixture of results, I think this makes them quite unpredictable, but they
got a good 3-1 win over Larkhall on Sunday, so we know we have to go into the game fully
focused and execute our game plan to come away with the win to progress.
WSS: Would a possible cup run in the League Cup be amongst the team’s aims
       for the season?
EP: Moneyfields love a cup run! We have the same mentality going into any game at any
level, we play our game, we enjoy it and we play to win.
WSS: Realistically, what would you say would be a good season for
       Moneyfields in the league?
EP: I think for our first season in this league as a team, our aim is to make top three. We are
aware of some of the tough battles against teams we will face along the way. In this league,
one bad performance on a Sunday can cost you three points, any team can take points off
anyone. But the team is focused and hungry to prove ourselves at this level. Not only have
we strengthened really well, adding quality players that have created competition for spots
within the team, we have added quality coaches as well, so our training has been taken up
another level and we work hard during the week to get the results at the weekend.
WSS: Division One South West looks to have a number of strong teams in it,
who do you reckon will be amongst the challengers at the top of the table?
EP: There are many strong teams in this league, and it’s hard to just pick one. At this stage,
Cardiff look like the team to beat, we are aware of the quality they have in their team, and
having beaten a good Exeter side 5-0 on Sunday we know they will be a tough team to beat.
       Our thanks to Emma!
