East Midlands League
Chesterfield kept up their good start in the Premier Division with a second straight win, 5-1 away to
Rotherham Utd. Eleanor Abercrombie, Kelly Fidler, Amy Pashley, Millie Standen and Georgia
Willson all scored a goal apiece for the Spireites. Notts County are the other team on six points, they
defeated Mansfield Town 4-2 thanks to Shoniqua Barnes (2), Audrey Huskisson-Moore and Bella
Reed. Kayleigh Needham scored twice and Simran Singh the other for Anstey Nomads as they
shared a 3-3 draw with Basford Utd, who scored through Katie Platts (2) and Jessica Shaw, whilst
Tracey Duxbury-Mead and Betsy Thomas both hit doubles for Lincoln Utd in their 6-1 victory over
Oughtibridge WM, Lauren Churcher and Lottie Tattam adding the others.
Division One Central had a particularly weird look about it at the moment, with seven of the
eight teams level on three points. These are headed by Nottingham Trent University who bounced
back from an opening defeat to beat Notts County Development 5-0. Alice Rogers led the scoring
with a hat-trick and Bea Hembrough added the other two. Ruby Burns, Carly Gill, Eleanor Rose and
Annabel Davies accounted for the goals as Dronfield Town won 4-1 against West Bridgford Colts
to get off the mark, as did Sherwood FC Women with a 2-0 success away to Mansfield Hosiery
Mills, thanks to Zoe Meyrick and Esme Crosby.
In Division One South, Thrapston Town moved onto six points with a 4-1 victory against
Loughborough Foxes Vixens. Amelia Boddington bagged a hat-trick and Abby Callaghan the other
for Thrapston who lead the table by two points from Roade Ladies and Northampton Town
Development, whose match finished in a 4-4 draw. Kellie Billenness, Danielle Charlton, Aimee
Smith and Kelly Sutton were all on target for Roade, whilst Northampton netted through Keira Doig
(2), Heather McLoughlin and Alex Bartlett.
Eastern Region League
Only one match was played in the league on Sunday, in Division One South where Hutton ran out 4-1
winners away to Grays Athletic. Abigail Fry led the scoring for Hutton as she scored a hat-trick and
Kelly Roberts was also on target, whilst Grays' consolation came from Maizie Kelly.
London & South East League
Ebbsfleet Utd continue to head the Premier Division following their 2-0 win away to Fulham FC
Women on Sunday, Amy Russ scoring both goals. Ebbsfleet lead the way by a single point from three
teams, headed by Millwall Lionesses who defeated Sutton Utd 5-1 with strikes from Otesha
Charles (2), Kaydence Kabadaki, Angel Reid and Gemma Bryan. Rebecca Bell netted twice along with
Georgia Tibble and Emily Linscer as Worthing FC Women made it three wins in a row with a 4-2
success against Enfield Town and Saltdean Utd edged out Aylesford by the odd goal in seven,
thanks to Avilla Bergin, Georgia Bridges, Molly Hill and Evie Nebbitt. Dartford raced to a 4-1 victory
at AFC Acorns, courtesy of Nicha Dyett, Amy Green, Shauni Griffiths and Adele Pearce. Kalina
Georgieva was on target for New London Lionesses in their 1-1 draw with Dulwich Hamlet, who
scored through Abby Delves.
In Division One North, Clapton Community went level on points with leaders Dorking
Wanderers after they won 3-1 away to Whyteleafe. Dulwich Hamlet Res had an opportunity to
also go to nine points but were beaten 2-1 by Denham Utd, whose scorers were Rachel Keightley and
Jenny Nagle.
Ashford Utd have gone to the top of Division One South with a seven-goal victory over
Bexhill Utd. Jodie Cain, Karis Howard, Yasmin Howard, Ronni Jeffrey, Rebecca Wyatt, Meadow
Barton and Jenny Newman all netted a goal apiece. Terri-Ann Warren was on target four times along
with Allana Francis-Ashmeil (2), Mercedes Broomfield and Millie Main as Bromley FC Women beat
Cray Valley (PM) 8-1 to move to nine points, as did Eastbourne Utd with a 2-1 victory over
Newhaven, given to them by Emily Copeland-Dinan and Shantelle Omar.
North East League
Wallsend Boys Club have moved into third place in the Premier Division after two goals from
Jessica Ellison gave them a 2-1 victory away to Alnwick Town. Hull Utd meanwhile got their season
off and running with a 2-2 draw against Blyth Town, but this did not tell the whole story as they had
to come from two goals behind, Jennifer Randall and Lauren Holmes giving them a share of the spoils.
One match was played in the Southern Division, Handsworth moving to the top of the table
as goals from Jessica Birtles and Danielle Pinder earned them a 2-1 success at Ossett Utd, whose
reply came from Danielle Sidebottom.
