Newcastle Town produced a fine performance to beat Port Vale 2-0 and Leamington
Lions were 3-1 winners over Doveridge. Bewdley Town meanwhile scored seven without reply
away to Westfields Women.
Headstone Manor were penalty shootout winners over Biggleswade Utd, after their match
had finished 1-1 with Ujevara Breznica scoring their goal, whilst Frontiers were 1-0 winners over
AFC Dunstable. Stanway Rovers caused a surprise as they edged out Haverhill Rovers 4-3 and
Leicester City Ladies came through a tricky tie away to Yaxley Phoenix with a 4-2 victory.
Barking enjoyed a smooth passage with a six-goal victory away to Sevenoaks Town.
Kimberly Castro had a great day in front of goal for Sport London e Benfica, scoring five
times as they won 6-1 at Buckingham Utd with Kendal Drake adding the other. Dorking
Wanderers meanwhile kept up their good start to the season by beating Richmond & Kew 5-1.
Chloe Logie scored a hat-trick, with Kirsty Matthews and Sophie Troth adding the others, as
Brentford won a thrilling tie 5-4 against Woodley Utd whose replies came from Rebecca Gooch,
May Hamblin, Sarah Lawrence and Charley Evans. Brett Vale triumphed 1-0 away to East Bergholt
Utd and Leatherhead netted eight times without reply past Guildford City, including a four-goal
haul from Meggie McLoughlin. Lucy Hearn, Alicia Christie, Kira Treliving and Eva Keen weighed in
with the other goals. Rebecca Lovelace was another hat-trick scorer as Watford Development
defeated Mortimer Ladies 8-1, Sophia Amanor and Lily Hall each netting twice and Francesca
Grazioli rounding off the scoring.
Hackney emerged as penalty shootout winners after their tie with Regents Park Rangers
ended level at 3-3 whilst Richmond Park's progression was a lot more straightforward, Tess Adlam
hitting a hat-trick as they won 8-0 against Reigate, with Lauren Hawkley, Lilac Jervis, Noemie
Pacatte, Nika Persson and Megan Porter adding the others. Mia Fadeni, Elisabeth Gaver, Ornella
Mbula and Abby Webster were the markswomen for Islington Borough as they edged out Comets
by the odd goal in seven. Hitchin Belles meanwhile edged out Bedmond Ladies 2-1.
Izzy Taggart (2), Elena Brock (2) and Kate Foster accounted for the goals as Herne Bay won
5-1 away to Maidstone Utd. Steyning Town Community were another team to progress on
penalties, after their tie with Abbey Rangers finished level at 2-2 (see match report). Grace Laverick
netted twice along with Parker Dunn, Lisa Fulgence, Emily Symonds and Emily Clarke for Welling
Utd in their 6-0 victory over Glebe Ladies whilst Montpelier Villa defeated Burgess Hill Town
2-0 thanks to Katherine Davyson and Helena Bates.
Charlotte Comley spearheaded the win with a hat-trick as Milton Utd scored eight times
without reply against Slough Town Ladies. Georgia Winger contributed a brace and there was one
apiece from Chloe Phillips, Holly Porter and April England. AFC Stoneham were 3-1 victors away to
Shanklin, courtesy of a Sophie Lee double and Chloe Andrews.
Pucklechurch Sports produced another Cup victory on penalties, this time eliminating St
Vallier Ladies after the teams had battled out a 1-1 draw. Poppy Coles gave Pucklechurch a first half
lead which was cancelled out after the break by Amy Jefferies, before Pucklechurch emerged as 4-3
winners from the shootout. Weston-super-Mare were also penalty victors against Frome Town;
Natasha Crew and Samantha Crew both scored for Weston as the game ended level at 2-2, whilst
Frome netted through Maisie Harris and Koran Atkinson.
Frampton Rangers and Oldland Abbotonians produced an entertaining tie which
finished 2-2, before Frampton triumphed 6-5 on spot kicks. Brodie Olive and Amie Norris scored for
Frampton in open play, with Beth Dale and Mollie Robbins replying. Another tie which went to
penalties after a 2-2 draw was at Gloucester City, where visitors Bishop's Cleeve were to win 4-2
from the spot.
Pen Mill netted ten times past Longwell Green whilst Tori Marks bagged a five-goal haul,
with Morwenna Albury, Jodie Shipton, Gracie Davies and Amber Hadrill also on target, as Sticker
Women marked their Cup debut by scoring nine times against Budleigh Salterton. Marine
Academy Plymouth defeated Teignmouth Ladies 6-1 thanks to Sam Drewery (2), Megan
Boulton, Lily Hamp, Devon Simmonds and Lauren Usher, whilst Chelsea Semmens netted twice for
Activate who were 6-3 winners away to Bideford, with Bethan Cowd, Stacey Tonkin, Steph Warren
and Wensday Wise also getting on the scoresheet. Helston Athletic recorded one of the biggest wins
on the day when they beat Crediton Utd 16-2.
