North West League
Cheadle Town Stingers are the new pacesetters in the Premier Division, their 3-1 victory over
Fleetwood Town Wrens taking them above Tranmere Rovers by virtue of goals scored. Crewe
Alexandra meanwhile chalked up their first league win of the season with an eight-goal blast away to
Wigan Athletic, a result which takes them up into mid-table.
Haslingden have taken over the top spot in Division One North following their 1-0 success at
previously unbeaten Carlisle Utd. Accrington Stanley scored nine times without reply past
Morecambe and therefore move into second place. Blackpool are starting to pick up pace and ran
out 5-0 winners over Chorley Women Development, Molly Kelly scoring twice along with Lily
Hambly, Cloe Warbrick and Charlotte Hartley.
In Division One South, a win would have taken Chester FC Women top of the table but they
remain in third after being beaten 4-2 by Runcorn Linnets. The result means that Runcorn are four
points behind leaders Bury AFC Women as are Poulton Vics after they won 3-1 against Alder FC
Women.
South West League
Sherborne Town are the only team in the Premier Division to have won both of their opening
matches, after their 2-1 success away to Wootton Bassett Town on Sunday. Laura Jefferies gave the
home side the lead during the first half but after the break, Sherborne turned the game around with
goals from Sophie Garcia and Orla East. The Dorset side have a lead of two points, with Liskeard
Athletic in second place after they ran out 5-2 winners over Ilminster Town. Sam Metters, Hanna
Prisk, Sara Rowe, Chloe Williams and Grace O'Leary all scored for Liskeard, with Jodi Cornwall and
Abi Carslake replying. Forest Green Rovers are the other team on four points following their 2-1
victory at Bristol Rovers. Charlie Rowlands scored both goals as Forest Green became the first team
to inflict a home defeat on Rovers, whose consolation came from Zoe Fielden-Stewart. In all five games
in the division on Sunday, the away team scored two goals, this included a 2-1 win for Warminster
Town away to Bishop's Lydeard. Rebecca Fry and Sophie Kelly were Warminster's goalscorers,
whilst the home side's reply came through Imogen Miller. Tracey Cross was on target twice for
Torquay Utd as they defeated Poole Town 5-2. Ellie Bishop, Emma Hunt and Danni Wyatt were
also on the scoresheet for Torquay, with Sacha Paynter and Holly Weaver-Coles responding.
One match was played in the Northern Division and it saw Downend Flyers score eleven
times without reply against Chipping Sodbury Town. Beth Pitman had a great game in front of goal
as she netted six times, Mollie Bourne weighed in with a double and there was one apiece from Alice
Baker, Annabel Bean and Briony Hayward.
AEK Boco leapt into top spot in the Eastern Division with a 4-0 victory away to Weymouth,
Lucy Atkinson and Sasha Ferris each netting twice. Adella Clarke, Beth Knight and Eleri Webber were
on target for second placed Paulton Rovers as they shared a 3-3 draw with Stockwood
Wanderers, whose markswomen were Toni Blenkinsopp, Jodi Hall and Rosie Bostock.
Feniton are the new leaders of the Western Division following their 3-1 win against Saltash
Utd. Sian Aslett, Charlotte Dymond and an own goal gave Feniton a second straight victory, whilst the
Ashes' consolation came from Billie Swan.
Southern Region League
Newly promoted Bournemouth Sports made it two wins out of two and they sit at the top of the
fledgling Premier Division table. Lauren Brewer and Becky Miles each scored twice for Sports as they
defeated Winchester City Flyers 4-1, Charlotte Warhurst replying. Oxford City meanwhile won
for the first time this season, 3-2 away to Eastleigh.
A goalless draw against Long Crendon has taken Kidlington to the top of Division One
North. In the other game, Sumayah Zayadi scored the only goal as Caversham Utd won 1-0 against
Carterton Ladies.
In Division One South, a second half goal from Rebecca Munro earned Badshot Lea a 1-0 win
away to Selsey Women Development, a result which sees them as the early leaders. Meanwhile,
Trudy Bryan-Kerr and Kaitlin Howard were on the scoresheet as Woking Ladies got off the mark
with a 2-1 victory over Chichester City.
West Midlands League
Worcester City are the early pacesetters in the Premier Division after a goal from Bethan Dutton
gave them a 1-0 win at Lye Town. Worcester have a lead of two points from Kidderminster
Harriers, who also won 1-0 against Solihull Sporting with Macy Fox on target, and Shrewsbury
Town who beat Lichfield City with a Madison Jones goal. Carly Aldred hit a hat-trick as Sutton
Coldfield Town ran out 5-0 winners over Coundon Court, Cheryl Edwards and Phoebe Hopwood
