(f) The Library Committee shall arrange to have a
monthly floral design prepared by our members for display at
the Bella Vista Public Library and monthly Club meetings
when appropriate. The committee shall be responsible for
collaborating with the library director to order books or
magazine subscriptions donated by the Club.
(g) The Publicity Committee shall be responsible for
all publicity pertaining to Club activities, shall announce all
meetings through the press, and shall maintain a record of all
publicized activities.
(h) The Scholarship Committee develops criteria and
processes for our Dorothy Wallace Scholarship program.
Scholarships are given to local high school seniors or college
students focusing on horticultural studies. The Committee shall
report to the Board annually for approval of scholarship
decisions.
(i) The Social Media Committee maintains the board-
approved official Club internet-based communication forums.
This includes the Club’s public website,

The purpose of the Club website is to give gardening
information to Club members and to the community. Club
activities, photos, upcoming events and gardening information,
including links, are posted by the Social Media Committee on
an ongoing basis. A Members Only portion of the website may
also be maintained for sharing information about the inner
workings of the Club, get-well wishes and sympathy, etc. to
members. The purpose of the Club Facebook Group is for Club
members to share, collaborate, and discuss gardening related
topics. This may include sharing information and tips, asking
or answering questions, and sharing photos of their
gardens/plants. The Facebook Group is not intended to
advertise or sell products or services. The Social Media
