Article 5: Executive Board Officers
Section 1. The officers shall be:
President
First Vice President
Second Vice President
Assistant Second Vice President
Treasurer
Assistant Treasurer
Secretary
Assistant Secretary
Immediate Past President Parliamentarian
The Board of Directors shall be composed of the Officers of
the Executive Board. The Board of Directors shall oversee the
general affairs of the Club and has voting rights for business
that requires a decision by vote. Passage shall require majority
approval (by more than 50%) of the Board members in
attendance or voting electronically by email. A quorum for
Club business shall be considered to be five (5) of the nine (9)
Board members. Board of Directors members cannot change
bylaws of the Club without adhering to Article 11. All
Executive Board Officers shall be elected for two-year terms.
The terms in office for the President, First Vice President, and
Parliamentarian shall alternate years with the terms of the
remaining Executive Board Officers. The President may
appoint a replacement for any officer who is not able to
complete his or her term.
Section 2. The President shall preside at all General
Meetings of the Club and all Board Meetings. Board Meetings
shall be scheduled as determined by the President, with
appropriate notice given. Board meetings are open to all Club
members. The President shall appoint the Standing and Special
Committee Chairs and assist with Yearbook information. He or
she shall write a monthly “President’s Letter” to be
communicated to the general membership by email and
published on the Club’s website.
