*Part Time Annual Accrual is the Biweekly Accrual x 26 pay periods

** Part Time Status Maximum Accrual = Annual Accrual

Employees may accrue a maximum of one time the annual accrual in the Vacation category.
Individuals will receive a cash payment for unused Vacation Leave upon termination of
         employment.

Vacation Leave may go into a negative balance of up to 40 hours (pro-rated for part-time
employees). When requesting time away from work, employees are required to use leave
accruals when available. Leave balances are available in the electronic timekeeping system.

Vacation Leave accruals may be used in 1/4-hour increments or partial days (less than 8 hours)
to cover hours away from work in any 8-hour work day.

Vacation Leave may not be used to extend the employee’s final day of work.

Upon separation from the NWF, eligible employees will receive cash payment for unused
accrued Vacation Leave. If vacation leave is negative at the time of termination, repayment of
leave may be deducted from final pay in accordance to regulations.
