Holiday Leave will be provided to all benefits-eligible employees and benefits-eligible Interns
          (IB Status) hired into a position of at least twenty (20) hours per week.


          Benefit-eligible full-time employees will earn twenty-four (24) Floating Holiday hours on
          January 1st of each year sufficient to provide three (3) Floating Holidays annually.  Eligible Part
          Time employees will earn prorated Floating Holiday hours on January 1st each year based on
          their hours-worked-percentage of the full-time benefit.



          Holiday Leave will be provided to all benefits-eligible employees and benefits-eligible Interns (IB
          Status) hired into a position of at least twenty (20) hours per week.  Benefits-eligible Part Time
          employees will receive holiday pay provided the “Holiday time off” is taken within their normal
          part-time schedule.  Holiday pay is not intended to enhance pay period earnings for employees in

          part-time positions.  Temporary, non-benefit-eligible employees, On-Call employees, and non-
          benefits-eligible Interns are specifically excluded from this Holiday Leave Policy.


          NWF is closed for business on the following regular holidays:

            • New Year's Day

            • Martin Luther King Day
            • Presidents Day
            • Memorial Day
            • Independence Day
            • Labor Day
            • Veterans Day
            • Thanksgiving

            • Friday After Thanksgiving
            • Christmas


          Regular Holidays falling on Saturday will be observed on the preceding Friday, and those
          falling on Sunday will be observed on the following Monday.



          The final work day for a terminating employee, or for an employee beginning a Leave of
          Absence, must be a work day following the Regular Holiday to be eligible for Holiday Leave
          benefits.  Employees are not paid for Regular Holidays while on a Leave of Absence.
          Employees returning from a Leave of Absence must work prior to the Regular Holiday to be
          eligible for Holiday Leave benefits.


          NWF is closed for business during Winter Break which generally coincides with the last week

          of the calendar year.


          Coordination with Overtime Policy
          Regular Holiday or NWF Designated Holiday
          Non-Exempt employees will receive overtime for Regular Holiday or NWF Designated Holiday

          hours worked as requested by management when normal business operations have been closed.
